A residence permit secured against a European property you continue to own. Unlike a donation, the capital is still there afterwards — though owning it is not the same as being guaranteed its value.

An EU company, personal and corporate euro accounts opened on a documented footing, and tax residence established where it genuinely applies. Coordinated by Kestrel and delivered through regulated local professionals.
Taken together, the complete position is €395,000 — of which €250,000 remains invested in a European property you continue to own. It is a total, not a fee: approximately €100,000 is the citizenship stage, of which roughly €83,000 is the government contribution, due diligence and documents and the balance is the submitting agent’s and our professional fees; the remainder covers duties, the regulated legal work in each jurisdiction, and the company and banking setup. All of it itemised in writing before you commit.

Do I have to take all three stages?
No. Each stage is priced and delivered as a complete engagement and can be instructed on its own. We sequence the work around what the family actually needs rather than around a package.
Can I start with only €100,000?
Yes. We can implement the citizenship first and leave the rest until you are ready. It stands entirely on its own — the nationality is held for life whether or not you ever take the other two stages, so nothing is wasted if you stop there. The European residence and the company and banking can follow at any point afterwards, in either order.
Is the €395,000 a fee?
No. It is the total of the position. €250,000 of it remains invested in a European property asset that you continue to own, and approximately €100,000 is the citizenship stage — of which roughly €83,000 is the government contribution, due diligence and documents, the balance being the submitting agent’s and our professional fees. What is left covers the transaction — duties and transfer taxes, the regulated legal work in each jurisdiction, and the company and banking setup. All of it is itemised in writing before you commit.
What does Kestrel actually do, and what is done by others?
Kestrel coordinates the position end to end and is accountable to you for it. Regulated legal, tax and immigration work is carried by admitted local professionals in each jurisdiction, whom we instruct and supervise. Kestrel is an advisory firm, not a law firm.
How long does it take?
Roughly three quarters for the full position, running the stages in parallel where the jurisdictions allow it. A single stage is faster. We plan on conservative timelines and treat anything quicker as upside.
Why hold European residence rather than rely on a second passport for access?
A residence permit is a right the holder has been granted. Visa-free access attached to a nationality is a concession granted to that country, and it can be withdrawn by a decision the holder has no part in and no remedy against. Where durable European access is the objective, the permit is the sounder instrument.
The programme you apply under is the one that exists on the day you file.
For residence applications, we generally plan on approximately two to three months to approval and three to six months from instruction to residence card.
Citizenship applications vary more widely. A straightforward application may receive approval within approximately three months, but six to nine months to passport issuance is a more prudent planning assumption.
Programme rules, government fees and processing times can change. We therefore reconfirm the applicable terms immediately before an application is filed.
