Andrew J. Taylor has spent over fifteen years at the centre of cross-border residence, citizenship and real estate. He was Vice Chairman of Henley & Partners from 2014 to 2018, responsible for strategy, technology and real estate, and personally for the firm’s South Africa market entry — an office he opened and built from nothing. The group itself grew to 30+ countries, 20+ offices and 200+ staff over those years, and he served as a director on the boards of ten group companies in eight countries. As Managing Partner of Henley Estates from 2011 to 2014, he was personally responsible for more than €100m in client investment across citizenship-, residence- and real-estate programmes, and co-edited the International Real Estate Handbook. For roughly a decade, his private-sector mandates put him at the centre of government-facing residence- and citizenship-by-investment programmes connected to Caribbean, Cypriot and Maltese authorities — environments where sovereign trust, due diligence and discretion decide everything. A Canadian-born dual Canadian–British national resident in South Africa, he now leads Kestrel Private, the advisory he founded to put that experience to work for private families.
